AlphaTheta is the company behind Pioneer DJ. The Pioneer DJ name continues as the product brand on the CDJ, DJM, DDJ and XDJ lines, while AlphaTheta appears on products that fall outside the established booth categories and do not fit neatly under an existing family. The engineering teams and the rekordbox software ecosystem are the same, which matters practically: AlphaTheta hardware is designed to integrate with a Pioneer DJ rig rather than to sit beside it as a separate system. The RMX-IGNITE remix station and DJ effects processor is the current product carrying the name. It adds a dedicated performance layer of effects, sampling and remix control with physical controls, turning treatment into something played by hand rather than selected in software, and it connects into an existing Pioneer DJ setup.
