ALVA

ALVA builds cable and rack accessories in Germany alongside RME, to the same tolerances as the hardware they plug into. Every multicore has individually numbered fan-outs so the channel on the plug matches the channel on the screen, and every D-Sub shell carries the correct thread for the equipment it mates with. It is the difference between a cable that fits and a cable that almost fits.

The range runs from 8-channel analog multicores in D-Sub, TRS and XLR, through 192 kHz AES/EBU assemblies and the cross cables that bridge TASCAM and Yamaha pinouts, to optical TOSLINK for ADAT and multi-mode fiber for MADI in simplex, duplex and drum-wound lengths. These are the assemblies RME names in its own documentation.
