Allen & Heath ZED60-14FX is a 14-channel analog mixer with a 2-in 2-out USB audio interface, onboard digital effects and premium 60 mm faders. It carries 8 mic/line inputs on XLR and TRS jack sockets, 2 stereo inputs on TRS plus one on RCA, 2 Hi-Z instrument inputs, 3-band EQ with a sweepable mid, and XLR main outputs with insert points.

ZED Mini puts a working live mixer, a USB recording interface and Allen & Heath preamps in a frame small enough to carry one-handed. Every model in the range takes two Hi-Z instrument inputs, so a guitar or bass plugs straight in with no DI box, and every one carries a 2-in 2-out USB interface for recording the show or playing tracks back into it.
The preamp is where the ZED range earns its reputation. Allen & Heath's DuoPre design splits the gain into two stages, which keeps noise down and headroom high across the whole range of the control rather than only at the top of it. It is the same R&D team that builds the preamps on the company's flagship touring consoles.
MusiQ EQ was designed specifically for the ZED mixers. Rather than borrowing a generic curve, the analogue engineers set the target frequencies and the slope of each band around what actually needs correcting on instruments and voices, which is why it tends to sound right with less movement of the controls.

How Many Microphones Can It Take?
Eight, on combination XLR and TRS jack sockets with Allen & Heath's DuoPre preamps. Two stereo channels and an RCA pair handle playback and line sources on top of that.
Who Is the ZED60-14FX For?
Full bands with a drum kit miked up, worship teams with a rhythm section and vocals, and venues that need eight preamps without moving to a rack-mount desk. It is the largest ZED Mini and the point where the range starts to cover a real stage.
How Is It Different From the ZED60-10FX?
Eight mic/line inputs instead of four. Faders, USB interface, effects, EQ and outputs are the same.
Can I Record the Show?
Yes, as a stereo mix over the 2 in 2 out USB interface. For separate tracks per channel, a mixer with a multichannel interface is required.
