Alto Professional VOICE PLUS is a 1U single-channel mic preamp and vocal channel strip, new and factory sealed. It chains a preamp with +48V phantom power, expander and gate, compressor, three-band voice EQ, de-esser and master output, with 10 to 60 dB of mic gain and balanced XLR and 1/4 inch inputs.

The VOICE PLUS puts everything a voice or single instrument needs in one channel. The input section has switchable +48V phantom power, phase reverse, and a frequency-variable 18 dB per octave low-cut filter, with mic gain from 10 to 60 dB.
After the preamp come an expander and gate, a compressor with a program-dependent envelope, a three-band EQ voiced for vocals, and a de-esser with frequency, boost and cut, and an activity LED. A master output section with its own meter finishes the chain. Three outputs, main XLR and TRS plus a dedicated recording out, and a side-chain insert give routing flexibility.

What Is the VOICE PLUS Used For?
Vocal tracking, podcasting, broadcast, live vocals and voiceover, anywhere one voice needs a preamp and full processing before the recorder or console.
How Is It Different From the VOICE PLUS D?
The VOICE PLUS has an expander and gate. The VOICE PLUS D drops the gate and adds a tube-emulation circuit, a 24-bit S/PDIF digital output and a word clock input.

Why Alto Professional?
