The Applause Jump Slope Shoulder Dreadnought in Peach is a solid spruce top acoustic guitar with ovangkol back and sides, a European maple neck with a dovetail neck joint, and a pinless bridge. It has a 648 mm scale, 43 mm nut and 20 frets, a matte peach top, and is fully acoustic.
A solid-top slope shoulder dread in a color nobody else is playing.
The slope shoulder dreadnought rounds off the boom of a square-shoulder dread into a warmer, more balanced sound, a favorite of fingerstyle and Americana players. Solid European spruce over ovangkol, an African tonewood often compared to rosewood, gives clear highs over warm, complex mids.
Jump is the Applause flat-top line: solid European spruce tops, ovangkol back and sides, European maple necks with a dovetail neck joint, a pinless bridge for quick string changes, maple binding, and Jump design impact protection on the top.
The open-pore matte lacquer keeps the finish thin, with the top in Peach. It comes strung with Adamas 1818NU phosphor bronze, .012 to .053. Ovation has discontinued the Peach finish, so this is remaining stock.
