The Applause Jump OM Cutaway Electric in Lipstick is a solid spruce top acoustic-electric guitar with an Orchestra Model cutaway body, ovangkol back and sides, and an Applause AP3TP preamp with built-in tuner. It has a European maple neck with a dovetail neck joint, a 648 mm scale, 45 mm nut, 20 frets and a matte lipstick top.
A solid-top OM that plugs in, in a color that gets noticed.
The OM body sits close and comfortable, with a balanced, articulate sound that suits fingerpicking and strumming alike. The cutaway opens the upper frets, the 45 mm nut gives fingerstyle playing room, and the AP3TP preamp with tuner plugs straight into an amp, PA or interface.
Jump is the Applause flat-top line: solid European spruce tops, ovangkol back and sides, European maple necks with a dovetail neck joint, a pinless bridge for quick string changes, maple binding, and Jump design impact protection on the top.
The open-pore matte lacquer keeps the finish thin, with the top in Lipstick. It comes strung with Adamas 1818NU, .012 to .053. Ovation has discontinued the Lipstick finish, so this is remaining stock.
