The Applause Wood series is the brand's traditional side: classic wooden body shapes carrying the Applause name and its plug-in practicality. The Applause Wood Classic Dreadnought, Mahogany Natural Matte is that guitar. This one wears the Mahogany Natural Matte finish.
The Wood Series
Where the rest of the Applause line is built on the Lyrachord bowl, the Wood series goes the traditional route: full wooden construction in time-tested body shapes, from OM and OOO to jumbo. It exists for the player who wants the Applause approach, honest build, working-musician features, distinctive looks, in a guitar that feels and resonates the way wooden flat-tops have for a century.
Sound and Electronics
Wooden back and sides give the Wood series the familiar bloom and body resonance traditional players expect, with each shape in the line voiced by its size: the smaller bodies articulate and intimate, the jumbos big and open. The Electro models add onboard electronics, so the same guitar covers the living room and the stage without a soundhole pickup retrofit.
Playability
Comfortable modern neck carve, clean fretwork, and shapes chosen for how they sit against the body as much as how they sound. Pick the body size that matches how and where you play.
