The Applause Wood Classics AEO96-M is an all-mahogany Orchestra Model acoustic-electric guitar with a cutaway and an Applause AP3TP preamp with built-in tuner. It has a laminated mahogany top, mahogany back and sides, a 45 mm nut, 648 mm scale, dovetail neck joint and an open-pore matte finish.
A warm mahogany OM that plugs straight in.
The AEO96-M pairs the comfortable OM body with the warm, mid-forward sound of mahogany, then adds a cutaway for the upper frets and the AP3TP preamp with tuner for the stage. It is the most accessible way into a Wood Classic electro.
It is part of the Applause Wood Classics series, traditional steel-string body shapes in all-wood construction with a dovetail neck joint, bone nut and compensated bone saddle, and a pinless bridge that makes string changes quick.
It comes strung with Adamas 1818NU, .012 to .053.
