Arturia MicroFreak is a paraphonic hybrid synthesizer pairing a multi-mode digital oscillator with a true analog filter, a 25-key capacitive touch keybed with polyphonic aftertouch, and CV/Gate, clock and MIDI connectivity for modular setups.

No. It has a single 1/4-inch mono master output, so plan monitoring through an interface or mixer.

Both. The oscillator is digital with 20+ modes; the filter is analog.
Can it control modular gear?
Yes. It outputs CV pitch, Gate and Pressure on 3.5mm jacks plus clock I/O.
Does the vocoder need a special mic?
It is designed for the Arturia gooseneck vocoder microphone, which plugs into the headset connector and is sold separately.
