Overview
S1 puts eight motorized, touch-sensitive 100 mm faders and eight push-top touch-sensitive rotary encoders under your hands, with a high-resolution OLED display per channel and dedicated keys for solo, mute, record-enable, and select. It runs on EUCON, Avid's high-speed Ethernet control protocol, for deep hands-on access to Pro Tools and other software, and it also supports Mackie Control and HUI.
Paired with the free Avid Control app on an iPad or Android tablet, which is not included, S1 adds S6-style metering, channel processing views, and a monitoring view for talkback, listenback, speaker switching, and cue mixes. As your needs grow, you can connect up to four S1 units and an Avid Dock into one extended, integrated surface.
