Overview
Sync X locks to every industry-standard reference, including word clock, loop sync, AES3, and a 10 MHz input for atomic master clocks, plus positional formats like LTC, serial timecode, and bi-phase/tach, with SD and HD video reference and pull-up and pull-down rates. Its double-resolution JetPLL clock runs from a 100 MHz temperature-compensated oscillator accurate to within one part per million.
Six word clock outputs feed your interfaces, and a built-in video reference generator with four outputs removes the need for an external sync generator, while automatic format detection lets Sync X receive house video reference too. It connects to an HDX or HD Native system over the host DigiSerial port and is configured from within Pro Tools | Ultimate. Sync X replaces the earlier Sync HD.
