Overview
Based on the touchscreen workflow of the flagship S6 and the hybrid control of the Artist series, the Dock pairs a touch-sensitive motorized attention-channel fader, eight push-top touch-sensitive soft knobs, a monitoring encoder, a weighted aluminum jog wheel, a full transport section, 16 programmable Soft Keys, and two programmable touch strips with the free Avid Control app on your tablet, which is not included.
EUCON gives it deep control of Pro Tools plus Logic Pro, Cubase, Nuendo, Media Composer, and Premiere Pro, and it automatically follows whichever application is in focus. It also takes control of EUCON-enabled monitoring, including Pro Tools | MTRX, MTRX Studio, D-MON, and XMON, for source selection, talkback, cues, and speaker cuts. Pair it with an S1 or S3 for an extended surface.
