Overview
Built with Digital Audio Denmark, MTRX II is the centerpiece of large music and audio-post facilities. The base unit provides 64 channels of DigiLink I/O, 256 channels of Dante, 64 channels of MADI, word clock, and 128 channels of SPQ speaker processing, with a 4,096 by 4,096 routing matrix and a 512 by 64 summing mixer for everything from stereo cues to full theatrical Dolby Atmos.
It is fully modular, with eight option-card slots plus a dedicated Thunderbolt 3 slot, so you can add analog, AES3, MADI, SDI, and more Dante I/O, scaling to as many as 1,280 Dante channels. AD/DA conversion runs up to 384 kHz PCM and DSD with 128 dB of dynamic range. It includes DADman software and Pro | Mon 3 monitoring control, and is EUCON-enabled for the Avid S1, S4, and S6.
