Overview
Installed in an MTRX II or MTRX Studio, the module delivers up to 256 channels on MTRX II and 64 channels on MTRX Studio over Thunderbolt 3, using Core Audio on macOS or ASIO on Windows. It works with any major DAW, so you can build a fully native rig or run it next to a DigiLink connection to Pro Tools | HDX.
Running Thunderbolt 3 and DigiLink at the same time opens new workflows. You can route between Pro Tools and another Core Audio DAW, or feed a Dolby Atmos renderer over Thunderbolt while keeping full use of your HDX DSP cores. Channel routing is handled in DADman software. This module is for the MTRX II and MTRX Studio only.
