Revelation Series SE Bb Straight Soprano Saxophone is a professional straight soprano saxophone with an altissimo high G key, finished in silver plate with rose gold keys, and supplied with both a brass neck and a sterling silver 925 neck.

The high G key is standard here, so the top of the horn is a fingering rather than a fight.

The Revelation Series saxophones give players an ergonomic layout and are offered in four high-end finishes: gold lacquer, gold plated, silver plated, and a Special Edition silver plate with rose gold keys and a sterling silver neck. Intricate engraving runs across the body, bow, bell, neck and keys, and the high D, Eb, E and F palm keys are adjustable, as are the left and right hand keys.

Underneath the finish the Revelation platform is a Super 80 S2 body with vertically extruded tone holes, Pisoni WS105 pads on convex nickel plated resonators, blue steel springs, black mother of pearl buttons, a custom support ring, a rod support bullet, and a G# and low C# anti-stick mechanism. A low C# keyguard protects the most exposed key on the horn.

Why Are Two Necks Included?

The brass neck is the everyday neck and gives the Revelation its centred, even response across the range. The sterling silver 925 neck is denser, and most players hear it as darker at the core with more resistance and more colour at low dynamics.

Two necks means the horn changes character without changing horns. Players use the brass neck for section and ensemble work and the silver neck for solo, studio and ballad playing.

What Does the Altissimo High G Key Do?

It gives you a keyed high G above the normal high F sharp, so the note speaks reliably instead of depending on an altissimo fingering and embouchure. On soprano, where the top register is already unforgiving, that is the difference between a usable range extension and a gamble.
