Overview
The heart of the camera is a Four Thirds sized HDR sensor with 13 stops of dynamic range, which holds detail in both bright skies and deep shadows the way a video camcorder cannot. Dual native ISO up to 25,600 keeps images clean from on-set lighting all the way down to low light, so you are not fighting noise when the room goes dark.
It records 12-bit Blackmagic RAW and Apple ProRes internally to CFast 2.0 and UHS-II SD cards, and you can record straight to an external USB-C disk for long takes without swapping media. Blackmagic RAW keeps full sensor data in small, fast files that drop straight into DaVinci Resolve for grading. The large 5-inch touchscreen makes it easy to nail focus and exposure, and the Micro Four Thirds mount opens up a huge range of affordable native, vintage and adapted lenses.
