The Blackmagic URSA Cine 17K 65 is Blackmagic's 65mm large-format digital film camera, built around a massive 17K sensor for the highest-end feature, VFX and large-format cinematography. It brings the URSA Cine platform's built-in network storage, 16 stops of dynamic range and full cloud and post integration to a true 65mm format.
Overview
The 65mm large-format sensor captures an enormous 17K image with 16 stops of dynamic range and rich, organic color, for the kind of resolution and latitude demanded by high-end features and immersive work. It records 12-bit Blackmagic RAW to the built-in Blackmagic Media Module with direct Blackmagic Cloud sync, so editing can begin in DaVinci Resolve during the shoot.
You can swap between PL, LPL and other supported mounts, and industry-standard LEMO and Fischer connections plus WiFi and SRT streaming make it ready for demanding productions.
This configuration includes the URSA Cine EVF.
