Overview

CBI GA1 is a 25 foot American made instrument cable with one straight and one right angle 1/4 inch TS plug, built on 20 AWG copper with a braided shield. It is a guitar, bass and keyboard cable for stage use, with the angled end at the instrument so the plug sits flat and stays out of the way.

Right angle at the guitar, straight at the amp, and enough length to move.

The GA1 is CBI's everyday instrument cable, made in the USA and used as a guitar cable, patch cord or keyboard cable anywhere a 1/4 inch to 1/4 inch connection is needed. The right angle plug on one end lets the instrument sit where it should without bending the plug or straining the jack.

At 25 feet it covers most stage layouts, from a player at the front edge back to an amp line or a pedalboard and on to the backline.

Which End Goes Where?

Put the right angle plug in the instrument. On a guitar or bass with a front mounted jack it keeps the cable running down and away from your strumming hand. The straight end goes to the amp, pedalboard or DI.

Is 25 Feet Too Long for a Guitar Cable?

For practice at home, usually yes. On stage it is a common length because it lets you move without pulling the amp. Unbuffered passive pickups lose some top end over longer runs, so players who want the shortest path often pair a long stage cable with a buffer or tuner pedal at the front of the board.

Can I Use It for Speakers?

No. This is a shielded instrument cable for low level signals. Use a dedicated speaker cable between an amplifier head and a cabinet.

End A 1/4 inch TS, straight
End B 1/4 inch TS, right angle
