Intimidator Spot 360X is a moving head spot fixture with continuous 360 degree pan and tilt rotation, gobos and colour wheels, at the top of the Intimidator range. Unlimited rotation means the beam never has to stop and reset the way a limited-travel head does.
It never has to unwind, so the movement never stops.
Intimidator Spot 360 is a 100 W LED packed with mobile event lighting power. Dual rotating prisms are on board to split the beam and cover a larger area with Intimidator Spot 360's impressive visuals. Throw light even farther by decreasing the beam angle 5 degrees using the manual zoom. Motorized focus gives you the ability to create sharp gobo patterns from almost any distance and Totem mode lets you keep the beams forward. Intimidator Spot 360 lets you set, save, and recall 1 scene manually, directly from the full-color LCD display. Creating amazing light shows is easy with wireless non-DMX control using the optional IRC-6 remote. Intimidator Spot 360 uses powerCON-compatible power input/output connections for power linking. A handy ¼-turn hanging bracket allows for single or dual clamp mounting options and Intimidator Spot 360 fits best in the CHS-360 VIP carry bag or the Intimidator Road Case S35X flight case. What Is a Moving Head Light?
A fixture whose head pans and tilts under motor control, so the beam moves around the room rather than staying pointed at one spot. It is what produces sweeping beams and gobo patterns crossing a dance floor, and it does the work of several static fixtures.
Do I Need a DMX Controller?
Not necessarily. Chauvet fixtures run in automated and sound-active modes straight out of the box, and the ILS system lets a whole rig follow one master fixture. A DMX controller gives you cue-by-cue control if you want it.
How Many Do I Need?
Two is the usual starting point, one either side of the floor, because moving heads read as a pair sweeping in opposition. One on its own tends to look accidental.
Why Chauvet DJ
Chauvet DJ has been the default answer in mobile DJ and small venue lighting for two decades, built on a simple premise: a lighting rig should set up fast, run without an operator and survive being loaded in and out several nights a week. The ILS system ties fixtures together so a whole rig responds as one without a DMX desk or a programmer, which is the reason a single DJ can run a room's worth of lighting alone. The company is based in Sunrise, Florida.
