Wash FX 2 is a multi-effect wash light with individually addressable LED zones for chases and pixel effects alongside conventional wash duty.
A wash light that can also chase.
Wash FX 2 is a multi-purpose effect light with 18 Quad-color (RGB+UV) LEDs that can be used as a regular wash light or eye-candy effect with 6 chasing zones. Powerful UV LEDs create a psychedelic blacklight effect and provide brilliant color-mixing capabilities. Wash FX 2 can be controlled with the IRC6 wireless remote for wireless triggering or in stand-alone, DMX, IR or master/slave modes.

What Is an Effect Light?
A fixture that throws moving patterns, beams or shapes across a room rather than lighting it evenly. Derby, moonflower and laser-style effects fall here. They create energy and movement, and they work best against a wash rather than on their own.
Do They Need a Controller?
No. Effect lights run in sound-active mode by default, reacting to the music, which is exactly how most mobile DJs use them. A controller or the ILS system adds coordination when you want it.
How Do Effect Lights Fit With Wash Lights?
Wash sets the colour and mood of the room, effects add movement and punctuation. A rig with only effects looks chaotic and a rig with only wash looks static. Most working rigs run both.
Why Chauvet DJ
Chauvet DJ has been the default answer in mobile DJ and small venue lighting for two decades, built on a simple premise: a lighting rig should set up fast, run without an operator and survive being loaded in and out several nights a week. The ILS system ties fixtures together so a whole rig responds as one without a DMX desk or a programmer, which is the reason a single DJ can run a room's worth of lighting alone. The company is based in Sunrise, Florida.
