Cort Earth Pack is a complete acoustic guitar starter pack built around the Cort Earth60, a full size dreadnought with a solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides and an open pore finish. It comes with a Cort gig bag, an E200C clip-on tuner, a shoulder strap and medium picks, so a new player has everything needed to start the day it arrives.
A solid top guitar in a beginner pack, which is the part that usually gets cut.
Most starter packs cut corners on the guitar itself. Cort went the other way. The Earth60 in this pack has a solid spruce top over mahogany back and sides, the same wood pairing used on Cort's upper series acoustics, and it is built by the same Cort crews that build the brand's higher series. A solid top keeps opening up as it is played, so the guitar gets better with time instead of staying where it started.
The open pore finish is thin, which lets the wood resonate and keeps the weight down. Cort strings it with coated strings that resist sweat and humidity, a real advantage in Miami where uncoated strings go dull fast. A dovetail neck joint, dual action truss rod and a comfortable C shape neck round out a guitar that plays properly from the first chord.

Who Is the Cort Earth Pack For?
First time players, parents buying a first guitar, and adults coming back to the instrument who want a real guitar rather than a toy. Because the guitar has a solid top, it is also a sensible second guitar for an experienced player who wants something to leave out of the case.
Is the Earth60 in the Pack a Solid Top Guitar?
Yes. The top is solid Sitka spruce, not laminate. The back and sides are mahogany. Cort designed this Earth60 specifically for the Earth Pack.
Can the Cort Earth Pack Plug Into an Amp?
No. The Earth60 in this pack is a purely acoustic guitar with no pickup. For stage or church use, Cort makes the Earth60CE with a cutaway and electronics, or a pickup can be installed later.

Why Cort
Cort has built guitars and basses for more than 50 years in its own factories, which today turn out over a million instruments a year. That scale is why the Earth series can put a solid spruce top and a dovetail neck joint on a starter guitar, and why the same builders work across Cort's entry and upper series.
