Universal Audio Del-Verb is a combined reverb and delay pedal carrying a golden unit spring reverb tank from a classic 1960s American guitar amp, a vintage German studio plate from The Plant in Sausalito, bit-for-bit 1980s studio digital reverb algorithms, a definitive emulation of an iconic tape echo unit and legendary preamp, and classic bucket-brigade analog delay.

UAFX pedals come out of the same modeling work as UA's plug-ins. The company measures specific units rather than product categories, which is why its descriptions name a particular amplifier or a particular tape machine rather than a style. The dual-engine processing in these pedals is what allows that detail to run in a stompbox rather than on a computer.
The flagship UAFX pedals differ from the compact ones in how much is inside. Each carries three complete effect families rather than one, every family modeled from specific hardware, with preset storage, silent switching and a choice of true or buffered bypass.
The UAFX Control app handles what the four knobs cannot. Footswitch behavior, preset recall and archiving, additional downloadable speaker cabinets and microphones, and artist presets all live there. Current pedals support MIDI over USB along with Bluetooth and hardwired connections.

How Is Del-Verb Different From Golden and Starlight?
It combines them rather than replacing either. Golden Reverberator carries three variations of each reverb family and Starlight carries three of each delay family. Del-Verb takes one of each into a single pedal, so a board gets both time-based effects in the space of one.
Who Is Del-Verb For?
Players with limited pedalboard space who need reverb and delay both, and anyone who does not need three variations of each family. It is the practical choice rather than the comprehensive one.

Why Universal Audio?
