DigiTech FS3X is a three-button remote footswitch for DigiTech pedals and processors, giving hands-free control over up and down model selection, mode changes, loop selection, automatic start and stop, and arming auto record where the host unit supports it. Construction is a three-button metal chassis with a single 1/4 in. connection, and a 10 ft stereo TRS cable is included.

Most DigiTech units carry one footswitch and put everything else behind buttons on the face, which works at a desk and not on a stage. The FS3X moves three of those functions to the floor.
What the three buttons do depends on the host. On a looper it typically handles loop selection and stop behavior. On a multi-effects unit it steps models and modes up and down. On the SDRUM, which has a dedicated FS3X input, it switches song parts. The unit being controlled defines the mapping, so it is worth confirming against the manual for the specific host.
The chassis is metal, the footprint is small enough to sit at the edge of a board or in a gig bag, and the 10 ft stereo TRS cable is in the box rather than sold on top.
