DigiTech JamMan Solo HD is a stereo looper and phrase sampler with 200 internal memory locations holding over 35 minutes of loops, expandable by a further 200 locations and over 32 hours through a microSD card. Loops record as uncompressed 44.1 kHz 16-bit stereo WAV at up to 10 minutes each, through a next-generation 24-bit HD converter, with JamSync for locking multiple units together.
The JamMan audio path, rebuilt around a better converter.
The Solo HD carries forward everything the Solo XT did: stereo looping, microSD and microSDHC support, Auto Record, selectable stop modes and JamSync for running several compatible devices in lock. What changed is the converter. The HD in the name is a next-generation A/D and D/A stage, and on a looper that runs overdub on top of overdub, converter quality compounds with every pass.
Memory is generous. Two hundred internal locations hold over 35 minutes in total, with any single loop running as long as ten minutes in stereo. A microSD or microSDHC card up to 32 GB adds another 200 locations and over 32 hours, at roughly 10.6 MB per minute of recording.
Loops store as uncompressed WAV, which means they move to a computer and back without a conversion step. USB connects to DigiTech's free JamManager HD software for organizing loops, saving them off the pedal and building JamLists to take to a gig. Tempo can be slowed or sped without changing pitch, and everything is hands-free from the footswitch.

How Much Can JamMan Solo HD Store?
Internally, 200 locations totaling over 35 minutes, with any one loop up to 10 minutes in stereo. Adding a microSDHC card of 16 GB or larger contributes another 200 locations and over 32 hours of recording time, at roughly 10.6 MB per minute. Cards up to 32 GB are supported.
Who Is JamMan Solo HD For?
Solo performers building parts live, guitarists practicing improvisation over their own rhythm work, and writers sketching arrangements. The JamSync output also makes it a component in a multi-device looping rig rather than a standalone box.
What Is JamSync?
A sync connection that locks several JamSync-compatible JamMan devices to a common clock, so loops recorded on separate units stay in time with each other. That allows multi-track looping across a rig rather than stacking everything into one pedal.
Can I Move Loops to a Computer?
Yes. Loops are uncompressed WAV files, and USB 2.0 connects the pedal to DigiTech's free JamManager HD software for Windows. That organizes loops, saves them to the computer and assembles JamLists for a set.

Why DigiTech?
DigiTech has built guitar effects since 1984 and invented the mass-market digital pitch shifter with the original Whammy in 1989. After a period under Harman ownership the brand was acquired by Cor-Tek in 2022 and has returned to active development, with the MonoNeon Whammy and HammerOn both arriving in 2025. Pitch shifting remains what the company is known for.
