The Electro-Voice ELX200-15P is a powered 15-inch two-way loudspeaker from EV's ELX200 series. A built-in 1200 W amplifier drives EV-designed transducers to 132 dB of peak output.
This is the box we recommend to gigging musicians, mobile DJs, and rental fleets. It is one of the lightest cabinets in its class, which matters at load-in more than any spec sheet. The 15-inch format favors fuller low-mids for full-band material and DJ sets in larger rooms. Run vocals and instruments straight in for small jobs, or feed it from a mixer for full productions; either way there is no amp rack to haul.
System processing runs on EV’s QuickSmart DSP: one knob, an LCD menu, and presets you can recall at soundcheck without touching a computer. EV’s patented SST waveguide keeps the coverage pattern consistent, so the mix at the back corner tracks the mix at front of house. Rigging is handled: threaded M10 points for eyebolts, aluminum pole mounts, and all-metal handles for daily transport. Bluetooth handles stream and control: play music wirelessly and adjust levels, EQ, and presets from your phone anywhere in the room.
