The Electro-Voice ELX200-18SP is a powered 18-inch subwoofer from EV's ELX200 series. It delivers 1200 W of low-frequency output and reaches 132 dB peak SPL.
A dedicated subwoofer transforms a two-speaker rig; the tops stop straining for bass and the whole system gains headroom. It is designed to pair with matching ELX200 full-range tops over a pole mount for a clean, cable-tidy stack. The ELX200 platform serves gigging musicians, mobile DJs, and rental fleets.
Onboard QuickSmart DSP handles the system processing through EV’s single-knob interface and LCD, so dialing in a room takes seconds instead of a laptop. The cabinet is braced 15 mm plywood under EV’s EVCoat finish, which shrugs off load-in scrapes far better than painted MDF. Rigging is handled: threaded M10 points for eyebolts, aluminum pole mounts, and all-metal handles for daily transport.
