The Electro-Voice ETX-15SP is a powered 15-inch subwoofer from EV's ETX series. It delivers 1800 W of low-frequency output and reaches 134 dB peak SPL.
Adding a subwoofer is the single biggest upgrade a portable rig can get: it takes bass duty away from the tops, so vocals clean up while the low end gets physical. It is designed to pair with matching ETX full-range tops over a pole mount for a clean, cable-tidy stack. The ETX platform serves high-output live sound and production work.
Multiple units can be arrayed in cardioid configurations to steer bass into the audience and keep up to 35 dB of it off the stage.
