With a 120° x 20° pattern, this version suits a specific room geometry; EV offers the same cabinet in multiple dispersions so the coverage, not the compromise, fits the space. As the low-impedance model it connects to standard amplifier channels; if your building runs a 70V line, the transformer version is the right pick instead.
