The Electro-Voice EVF-2151D-PIW is a passive 15-inch subwoofer from EV's EVF series. It handles 1000 W.
Adding a subwoofer is the single biggest upgrade a portable rig can get: it takes bass duty away from the tops, so vocals clean up while the low end gets physical. It is designed to pair with matching EVF full-range tops over a pole mount for a clean, cable-tidy stack. The EVF platform serves full-size permanent sound reinforcement.
Construction is braced 15 mm wood with the EVCoat finish EV uses across its touring gear; it is built to be loaded, not babied. Rigging is handled: threaded M10 points for eyebolts, aluminum pole mounts, and all-metal handles for daily transport.
