The Electro-Voice EVH-1152D/64-PIB is an installation loudspeaker from EV's EVH series. This model is the 60° x 40°, EVCOAT, PI-WEATHERIZED, BLACK version.
This variant covers 60° x 40°. Coverage pattern is the choice that separates a designed system from a guessed one, so pick the dispersion that maps onto the actual audience area. The PI weatherized build is rated for permanent outdoor exposure, for patios, pool decks, and stadium concourses. This is the low-impedance version, meant for conventional amplifier channels where each speaker or pair gets dedicated power. It is built for high output in spaces that punish lesser cabinets. That is why the EVH range shows up constantly in demanding permanent installations.
Construction is braced 15 mm wood with the EVCoat finish EV uses across its touring gear; it is built to be loaded, not babied. Rigging is handled: threaded M10 points for eyebolts, aluminum pole mounts, and all-metal handles for daily transport.
