The Electro-Voice EVH-1152D/66-BLK is an installation loudspeaker from EV's EVH series. This model is the 60° x 60°, EVCOAT, BLACK version.
With a 60° x 60° pattern, this version suits a specific room geometry; EV offers the same cabinet in multiple dispersions so the coverage, not the compromise, fits the space. This is the low-impedance version, meant for conventional amplifier channels where each speaker or pair gets dedicated power. We install and sell the EVH family into demanding permanent installations. It is built for high output in spaces that punish lesser cabinets.
The cabinet is braced 15 mm plywood under EV’s EVCoat finish, which shrugs off load-in scrapes far better than painted MDF. M10 rigging points, a pole cup, and metal handles cover tripod, pole-over-sub, and flown deployments.
