The Electro-Voice EVH-1152S/43-BLK is an installation loudspeaker from EV's EVH series. This model is the 40° x 30°, EVCOAT, BLACK version.
The defining spec on this variant is its 40° x 30° coverage pattern: match the pattern to the seating area and the install sounds designed instead of improvised. This is the low-impedance version, meant for conventional amplifier channels where each speaker or pair gets dedicated power. We install and sell the EVH family into demanding permanent installations. It is built for high output in spaces that punish lesser cabinets.
The cabinet is braced 15 mm plywood under EV’s EVCoat finish, which shrugs off load-in scrapes far better than painted MDF. Rigging is handled: threaded M10 points for eyebolts, aluminum pole mounts, and all-metal handles for daily transport.
