The Electro-Voice EVH-1152S/64-PIB is an installation loudspeaker from EV's EVH series. This model is the 60° x 40°, EVCOAT, PI-WEATHERIZED, BLACK version.
With a 60° x 40° pattern, this version suits a specific room geometry; EV offers the same cabinet in multiple dispersions so the coverage, not the compromise, fits the space. The PI weatherized build is rated for permanent outdoor exposure, for patios, pool decks, and stadium concourses. As the low-impedance model it connects to standard amplifier channels; if your building runs a 70V line, the transformer version is the right pick instead. It is built for high output in spaces that punish lesser cabinets. That is why the EVH range shows up constantly in demanding permanent installations.
The cabinet is braced 15 mm plywood under EV’s EVCoat finish, which shrugs off load-in scrapes far better than painted MDF. M10 rigging points, a pole cup, and metal handles cover tripod, pole-over-sub, and flown deployments.
