The Electro-Voice TX1122FM is a passive two-way loudspeaker from Electro-Voice. It handles 500 W through transducers designed and engineered by EV.
Passive cabinets keep long-term flexibility: amps can be upgraded or replaced independently, which is why installers and rental houses still spec them.
EV’s patented SST waveguide keeps the coverage pattern consistent, so the mix at the back corner tracks the mix at front of house. Construction is braced 15 mm wood with the EVCoat finish EV uses across its touring gear; it is built to be loaded, not babied.
