The Electro-Voice TX1152 is a passive two-way loudspeaker from Electro-Voice. It handles 500 W through transducers designed and engineered by EV.
Passive cabinets keep long-term flexibility: amps can be upgraded or replaced independently, which is why installers and rental houses still spec them.
The cabinet is braced 15 mm plywood under EV’s EVCoat finish, which shrugs off load-in scrapes far better than painted MDF. M10 rigging points, a pole cup, and metal handles cover tripod, pole-over-sub, and flown deployments.
