The Electro-Voice X12I-128-B is a passive subwoofer from Electro-Voice.
A dedicated subwoofer transforms a two-speaker rig; the tops stop straining for bass and the whole system gains headroom. Pair it with matching full-range tops over a pole mount for a clean stack.
Construction is braced 15 mm wood with the EVCoat finish EV uses across its touring gear; it is built to be loaded, not babied. Rigging is handled: threaded M10 points for eyebolts, aluminum pole mounts, and all-metal handles for daily transport. The enclosure is weatherized, so an outdoor ceremony or patio set does not depend on the forecast. Multiple units can be arrayed in cardioid configurations to steer bass into the audience and keep up to 35 dB of it off the stage.
