The Elixir NANOWEB 7-String Electric Guitar Strings in Light/Heavy .010-.059 are a coated seven string electric set for players who want a normal light top end and a low B that actually holds pitch. Nickel plated steel wrap wire, NANOWEB coating over the entire string, Anti-Rust Plated plain steels. Elixir part 12074.
A light top and a heavy bottom, so the low B stays tight without stiffening the first three strings.
Seven string sets live or die on the low B. Too thin and it flaps and goes sharp under the pick. Too thick everywhere else and the set turns into a fight. The Light/Heavy lay solves that by keeping .010 on top and running out to .059 on the seventh.
NANOWEB is Elixir's mid-weight coating. Thinner than POLYWEB, so it keeps the presence and punch of an uncoated nickel string, but still covers the whole string rather than just the wrap wire. On a seven string that matters more than usual, because the wound strings are where gunk builds first and the low B is the one you notice going dull.

Who Is This Set For?
Seven string players in standard B or drop A who want the top six to feel like a normal light set. Common on modern metal and progressive rigs, and on extended range jazz archtops.
Will the .059 Fit My Nut and Tuner Post?
Most factory seven strings are cut for a .056 to .060 low B, so .059 usually drops in. If you are coming from a .054 or lighter you may need the nut slot opened slightly. Do not force it, a pinched slot will kill the tuning stability the heavier gauge was meant to fix.
What Comes in the Box?
One sealed Elixir set of seven strings. No spares included.

Why Elixir Strings
Elixir is the only string maker that coats the entire string rather than just the wrap wire, which keeps sweat and debris out of the gaps between the windings where tone normally dies first. Anti-Rust Plating on the plain steels protects the rest of the set. The result is fewer string changes and a set that still sounds like itself weeks in.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these genuine Elixir Strings?
Yes. Victory is a veteran owned dealer in Miami and units ship new in original packaging, sealed by Elixir.
Is this set right for drop A?
Yes, that is the main use case. The .059 low string is what keeps drop A from going slack. In straight B standard it will feel firm, which most players prefer.
How is NANOWEB different from POLYWEB here?
NANOWEB is the thinner coating, so it keeps more high end and feels closer to an uncoated string. POLYWEB is warmer and slicker. Both last far longer than uncoated.
Can I buy a single replacement low B?
Not in this listing. This is a full seven string set. Call 844-687-4208 and we can look at Elixir singles for you.
