The Elixir NANOWEB 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings in Custom Light .011-.052 are coated acoustic guitar strings sold here as a three set pack. 80/20 bronze wrap wire for a bright, crisp voice, NANOWEB coating over the whole string, Anti-Rust Plated plain steels. Elixir part 16538X.
The bright bronze that usually dies in a week, coated so it doesn't.
80/20 bronze is the brighter of the two standard acoustic alloys. Fresh out of the pack it has a zing and a scooped, ringing quality that phosphor bronze does not, which is why it gets used heavily on recordings and for strumming parts that need to cut through a mix.
The catch with uncoated 80/20 has always been that the brightness is the first thing to go, sometimes within days. Coating the string is the direct answer to that, and NANOWEB is thin enough to keep the character rather than smothering it.
Custom Light .011-.052 is a lighter than standard lay. Easier on the fingers and easier on the top of a smaller bodied guitar, while still holding enough tension to strum.

What Is the Difference Between 80/20 Bronze and Phosphor Bronze?
80/20 bronze is brighter and more scooped, with a pronounced top end. Phosphor bronze is warmer and fuller through the mids with a rounder low end. Neither is better, they suit different guitars and different parts. If your guitar already sounds bright, phosphor bronze usually balances it better.
Who Is This Pack For?
Acoustic players on a light gauge who want brightness and buy in quantity. Also a good fit for smaller bodied guitars where a full .012-.053 set is more tension than the top wants.
What Comes in the Box?
Three individually sealed Elixir sets of six strings, all Custom Light .011-.052, in one retail carton.

Why Elixir Strings
Elixir is the only string maker that coats the entire string rather than just the wrap wire, which keeps sweat and debris out of the gaps between the windings where tone normally dies first. Anti-Rust Plating on the plain steels protects the rest of the set. The result is fewer string changes and a set that still sounds like itself weeks in.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these genuine Elixir Strings?
Yes. Victory is a veteran owned dealer in Miami and units ship new in original packaging, sealed by Elixir.
Will Custom Light gauge sound thin on a dreadnought?
It will be a little quieter and looser than a .012-.053 set, which some players want and some do not. On a dreadnought that you strum hard, standard Light is usually the better match.
Are all three sets the same gauge?
Yes, all three are Custom Light .011-.052.
Do these work on a 12 string?
No. This is a six string set. A 12 string needs a dedicated 12 string set with the octave strings.
