Ferrofish VERTOpro 32 is a 32 x 32 channel ADAT to Dante converter and router in a half rack 1U case, with four ADAT inputs and four ADAT outputs, a 64 x 64 Dante interface with redundant operation and AES67, sample rates up to 192 kHz and two MADI SFP slots for optional expansion. It brings ADAT preamps, interfaces and consoles onto a Dante network, configured entirely from the front panel.
Dantify your ADAT gear, with routing and monitoring built in.
VERTOpro 32 replaces the original VERTO 32 and takes the concept further. Beyond format conversion it adds a flexible routing matrix, a 3 inch IPS color display, integrated headphone monitoring and complete front panel operation. Routing works in blocks of eight or channel by channel, freely between Dante, ADAT and, once activated, MADI.
Four ADAT ports in each direction carry 32 x 32 channels at 48 kHz, 16 x 16 at 96 kHz and 8 x 8 at 192 kHz. The Dante side supports switched and redundant network operation as well as AES67. Eight presets, a device lock, RemoteFish control from Windows or macOS over USB-MIDI and MIDI CC control round it out.

How Much I/O Does the VERTOpro 32 Have?
Four optical ADAT inputs and four outputs: 32 x 32 channels at 48 kHz, 16 x 16 at 96 kHz and 8 x 8 at 192 kHz with SMUX. The Dante interface runs up to 64 x 64 at 48 kHz on two Gigabit ports. Word clock, MIDI, USB-C and a headphone output complete the panel.
Can the VERTOpro 32 Do MADI?
Two MADI SFP slots. MADI is activated with an optional MADI license and Ferrofish MADI SFP modules: multimode optical up to 2 km, singlemode optical up to 10 km, or coax up to 100 m. Once active, the ports run as two independent MADI streams or as a redundant MADI connection, with MADI routed to Dante and ADAT.
VERTOpro 32 or VERTOpro 64?
The 32 handles up to four ADAT devices in each direction. The VERTOpro 64 doubles that to eight ADAT ports for 64 x 64 channels. Everything else, Dante, MADI slots, display and monitoring, is the same.

Why Ferrofish
Ferrofish builds digital audio converters in Linz am Rhein, Germany, known for packing high channel counts into compact, front panel driven units. Its PULSE, A32 and VERTO lines are used in studios, broadcast, theater and touring rigs to connect ADAT, MADI and Dante systems without a computer in the middle.
