Overview

Ferrofish VERTOpro 64 is a 64 x 64 channel ADAT to Dante converter and router in a half rack 1U case, with eight ADAT inputs and eight ADAT outputs, a 64 x 64 Dante interface with redundant operation and AES67, sample rates up to 192 kHz and two MADI SFP slots for optional dual MADI. It puts up to eight ADAT devices in each direction onto a Dante network.

Sixty-four ADAT channels onto Dante, in half a rack space.

VERTOpro 64 replaces the original VERTO 64 and adds routing and management directly on the device. A high resolution 3 inch IPS color display gives access to metering, routing, clocking and configuration, and the internal matrix routes in blocks of eight or per channel between Dante, ADAT and, once activated, MADI.

Eight ADAT ports in each direction carry 64 x 64 channels at 48 kHz, 32 x 32 at 96 kHz and 16 x 16 at 192 kHz, matching the full Dante channel count. Integrated headphone monitoring, eight presets, device lock, RemoteFish and MIDI CC control are all included.

How Much I/O Does the VERTOpro 64 Have?

Eight optical ADAT inputs and eight outputs: 64 x 64 channels at 48 kHz, 32 x 32 at 96 kHz and 16 x 16 at 192 kHz with SMUX. Dante runs 64 x 64 at 48 kHz on two Gigabit ports, with word clock, MIDI, USB-C and a headphone output.

Can the VERTOpro 64 Do MADI?

Two MADI SFP slots. MADI is activated with an optional MADI license and Ferrofish MADI SFP modules: multimode optical up to 2 km, singlemode optical up to 10 km, or coax up to 100 m. Once active, the ports run as two independent MADI streams or as a redundant MADI connection, with MADI routed to Dante and ADAT.

VERTOpro 64 or VERTOpro 32?

Choose the 64 when you have more than four ADAT devices to network, such as eight channel preamps feeding a Dante console. The VERTOpro 32 has four ADAT ports in each direction and is otherwise the same.

What Comes in the Box?

The VERTOpro 64, power supply and manual.
