Overview

The FEUR FU-IE8.4 is a four channel UHF wireless in-ear monitor system running four independent wireless channels into metal bodypack receivers, with support for multiple receivers per channel and RF handling built for congested environments. It puts four separate monitor mixes on stage from one rack unit.

Four independent mixes, metal bodypacks, and room to add receivers without adding channels.

Four channels is the point where in-ear monitoring stops being a solo upgrade and becomes the stage plan. Lead vocal, drums, bass and one more player each get their own mix, and the wedges come off the floor. Stage volume drops, the front of house engineer stops fighting monitor bleed into the vocal microphones, and the mix in the room gets noticeably cleaner.

Each of the four channels is independent, and each can feed more than one receiver. That matters because a horn section or a pair of background vocalists usually wants the same mix, so they can share a channel and you keep the fourth free for someone who needs something different.

The bodypack receivers are metal. On a touring or weekly-use stage the receiver is the part that gets clipped, dropped and sweated on, and a metal housing is the difference between a system that lasts a season and one that lasts years. RF handling is tuned for crowded environments, which is where four simultaneous channels would otherwise start colliding.

How Many Mixes Can the FU-IE8.4 Send?

Four independent mixes, one per channel. Each channel can feed more than one bodypack receiver, so players who want the same thing in their ears can share a channel and free the others up.

Who Is the FU-IE8.4 For?

Bands and worship teams moving the whole stage off wedges, touring acts, broadcast and theater production. If four people on your stage each need something different in their ears, this is the system size that matters.

What Comes in the Box?

A four channel transmitter unit, metal bodypack receivers, FU-IE9 earphone sets with ear tips, the power adapter and the user manual. Receiver count varies by configuration, so call 844-687-4208 and we will confirm exactly what ships before you order.

Can I Add More Receivers Later?

Yes. The system supports multiple receivers per channel, so additional players can be added to an existing mix without adding a channel. Call us and we will confirm the correct receiver for your unit.

Will It Hold Up in a Crowded RF Environment?

That is what the RF section is tuned for. Four simultaneous channels is exactly where interference problems surface, and the system is built for stages and venues where the wireless spectrum is already busy.

Where Is the FU-IE8.4 Used?

FEUR lists these as the professional applications for this model:

  • Studio Recording Sessions
  • Broadcast and Streaming
  • Touring Musicians
  • Theater Productions
  • Corporate Events

Why FEUR?

FEUR was founded in Germany by a team of engineers and sound specialists who set out to make professional audio equipment that performs at a high level and stays within reach of the people who actually use it every week. Where most of the industry aims either at high-end studio work or at the bottom of the market, FEUR builds for the working middle: independent artists, houses of worship, schools, mobile operators and installed systems that need gear to show up and work every week.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a genuine FEUR product?
Yes. Victory is a veteran owned dealer in Miami and units ship new in original packaging.

Does the FU-IE8.4 come with a warranty?
Yes. It carries the FEUR manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Keep your invoice and call us at 844-687-4208 if you ever need service.

Are earphones included?
Configuration varies. Call us at 844-687-4208 before ordering and we will confirm exactly which components ship with your unit.

Can two players share one mix?
Yes. FEUR confirms that additional bodypack receivers can be assigned to the same channel when more than one performer needs identical monitoring. A horn section or a pair of background vocalists can share a channel that way.

How far does it transmit?
150 feet, about 45.7 meters, which covers most stage and arena positions. Structural steel, concrete and heavy competing RF all reduce it in practice.

How does it compare to the FU-IE700?
The FU-IE700 is a single channel system for one performer. The FU-IE8.4 runs four independent channels, supports up to four bodypacks at once, and each channel can feed more than one receiver. Both are rated at 150 feet of coverage.

Can each performer have a different audio mix?
Yes. Each of the four channels operates independently, allowing personalized monitoring mixes.

Is the system suitable for touring and live events?
Absolutely. The FU-IE8.4 is specifically designed for professional stage and touring environments

Can multiple receivers share the same channel?
Yes. Additional bodypack receivers can be assigned to the same channel when multiple users require identical mixes.
