Overview

D510dante is a Dante interface card for the D510 chassis, putting the 500 series rack onto an audio network so its modules become available anywhere on the Dante domain rather than only at the end of a cable run.

Ultra-Flexible Harrison 500 Series System Introducing the Harrison D510r, an ultra-flexible ten-slot 500 Series rack system with expandable analog summing mixer, Dante AoIP interface, or USB interface options. Built on a legacy that shaped the sound of legends like Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin, and Steely Dan, Harrison continues to push the boundaries of music and audio production. Whether in the studio, on stage, or the big screen, Harrison's design philosophy remains focused on delivering the sonic excellence and flexibility that modern artists, producers, and engineers need. Audio Over IP Connectivity for Live Sound and Studio Built around 10 in/14 out, high-performance A/D & D/A converters for pristine audio quality, the D510dante card brings the power of Dante AoIP to your Harrison 500 rack. Easily integrate 500 Series processing into your mix bus, subgroups, or channel inserts on a Dante-compatible live sound console. In a hybrid studio setup, take full advantage of Dante's flexible routing matrix to send and receive audio seamlessly across your modules.

What Does Dante Give Me Here?

It makes the D510's inputs and outputs available across an audio network over standard Ethernet, so the rack can live anywhere in the building and still feed any Dante-enabled device.

Does This Work Without a D510 Chassis?

No. It is an interface card for the D510 rackmount chassis and requires one to function.

Why Network a 500 Series Rack?

Because 500 series modules are analogue processing, and networking removes the analogue cable run between where the modules live and where the signal is needed. In a facility with several rooms that is a significant simplification.

Why Harrison Audio

Harrison built the consoles that mixed a large share of the records and films you know, starting in Nashville in 1975 with the 32 Series. The MR3 EQ and the 32C channel strip are the circuits that gave those desks their sound. Harrison is now part of the Solid State Logic group, and the current products put those original designs into 500 series modules, rackmount interfaces and networked systems.
