IK Multimedia ARC Studio Upgrade is the hardware room correction processor supplied without a measurement microphone, for owners who already have an ARC mic from ARC software, iLoud MTM, iLoud Precision or an earlier ARC Studio. The processor is identical to the standard version: AKM Velvet Sound converters at 24-bit and 96 kHz, 32-bit float internal processing, 120 dB dynamic range and 1.4 ms latency in Natural Phase mode.

If you have already calibrated an iLoud monitor or run ARC software, the measurement microphone in your drawer is the same one that ships in the standard ARC Studio box. This version drops it.
Everything else is the same. Correction is measured with the ARC software and stored in the hardware, so it applies to the whole monitor path rather than just the DAW output. Natural Phase mode runs at 1.4 ms for tracking, Linear Phase at 42 ms for the most accurate correction during mixing and mastering.
Check what you own before ordering this version. If you do not already have an ARC measurement microphone, the standard ARC Studio with the microphone included is the version you want.

Do I Already Own a Compatible Microphone?
If you have run ARC software, or own an iLoud MTM, iLoud MTM MKII, iLoud Micro Monitor Pro pair or an iLoud Precision monitor, you have the ARC measurement microphone. That is the microphone this version expects you to use. If you are not sure, call 844-687-4208 before ordering.
Who Is the Upgrade Version For?
Existing IK users adding hardware correction to a monitor path, and studios adding a second ARC Studio to another room where a microphone is already on site.
What Comes in the Box?
The ARC Studio processor, USB-C to USB-A cable, power supply unit and registration card. No measurement microphone and no microphone clamp.

Is the processor different from the standard version?
No. The hardware and the correction are identical. The only difference is that the measurement microphone is not in the box.
Can I use a measurement microphone from another brand?
IK's correction expects the calibration data of the ARC microphone. Using a different measurement mic is not supported and will affect accuracy. Call 844-687-4208 if you need to discuss your situation.
