IK Multimedia iRig Stream Pro is a streaming audio interface running 2 in and 2 out or 4 in and 2 out, with a balanced XLR microphone input at 2 kOhm with 40 dB of analog gain and +48 V phantom power, dual RCA line inputs at 16.5 kOhm, and 24-bit conversion at sample rates to 96 kHz. It measures 123 x 67 x 40 mm and weighs 146 g.
The streaming interface that takes a real microphone.
The gap between iRig Stream and iRig Stream Pro is the XLR input. A balanced microphone input at 2 kOhm with 40 dB of gain and +48 V phantom power means a broadcast dynamic or a studio condenser goes straight in, rather than a headset microphone standing in for one. Input level range runs from 3.8 mV RMS to 388 mV RMS.
Routing is flexible: 2 in and 2 out, or 4 in and 2 out when the line inputs and the microphone are used together. That is the configuration where a co-host on the XLR, backing music on RCA and a monitor mix all coexist without a separate mixer.
Metering covers both jobs, with three LEDs for the overall streaming signal and a dedicated peak meter for the microphone and instrument input. Sample rates reach 96 kHz, and the mini-DIN device connector supports iOS, Android and computers. With an external iRig PSU 3A the unit charges a connected iOS Lightning device.

How Much I/O Does iRig Stream Pro Have?
Two in and two out, or four in and two out when the RCA line pair and the microphone input run together. That covers a microphone, a stereo music or game feed, and a monitor mix simultaneously.
Who Is iRig Stream Pro For?
Streamers and podcasters who have outgrown a headset microphone, mobile broadcast setups, and musicians streaming performances where a proper microphone matters. The XLR input and phantom power make it the version to buy if you already own or plan to buy a real microphone.
Can I Stream From the Road With iRig Stream Pro?
Yes, and with a proper microphone. It carries an XLR input with 48 V phantom power alongside the RCA line inputs, and it still packs flat into a laptop bag. A proper microphone is the single biggest difference in how a stream sounds.
Do I Need External Power for Phantom?
Running 48 V phantom with an iOS device requires either battery power or the DC input. On a computer it is bus powered. An external iRig PSU 3A also charges a connected iOS Lightning device.
Can I Use It With a Computer as Well as a Phone?
Yes. The mini-DIN device connector supports iOS, Android, Mac and PC hosts with the appropriate cable.
