IK Multimedia UNO Synth Pro X is a paraphonic analog desktop synthesizer with three wave-morphing oscillators, a dual-filter design using both OTA and SSI chips, three fast envelopes with loop and retrigger, twelve effects across three slots plus analog drive, a 64-step sequencer and a 16-slot modulation matrix. It holds 256 user presets, offers over 30 hands-on controls, and measures 33.3 x 15 x 5 cm at 800 g.

The dual-filter design is the headline. One filter is OTA based, one is SSI chip based, and they have genuinely different characters under resonance and drive. Running them in combination gives shapes a single filter cannot produce, which is the main reason to reach for this over a conventional monosynth.
Three wave-morphing oscillators feed it, with PWM, oscillator sync, FM and ring modulation available. Three envelopes are specified as super-fast with loop and retrigger options, which is what makes percussive and modulated patches behave. Twelve studio quality effects sit in three slots ahead of the analog drive stage.
Performance features are built for playing rather than programming. A 64-step paraphonic sequencer, a 10-mode arpeggiator with a pattern designer, a Bassline mode alongside legato, mono and paraphonic modes, and an audio input routed into the filters and effects or passed straight through. Connections cover USB, MIDI, and CV and gate in and out, plus balanced stereo and headphone outputs.

What Does the Dual-Filter Design Actually Give You?
Two filters with different circuit topologies, one OTA based and one SSI chip based, which behave differently at high resonance and under drive. Using them together produces resonant and formant shapes that a single filter cannot, and it means one instrument covers two distinct analog voices.
What Does Paraphonic Mean Here?
Multiple notes share one filter and amplifier envelope rather than each having their own. You can play chords and intervals, but they articulate together rather than independently. It is not the same as full polyphony, and for basslines, stabs and pads it is often exactly what you want.
