IK Multimedia iLoud Precision 6 MKII is a professional high-resolution studio monitor built around a 6.5 in. coated paper mid-woofer and a 1.5 in. graphene reinforced textile dome tweeter, with a fully DSP controlled 96 kHz system, 150 W RMS of custom Class-D power and ARC room calibration built in. Sold individually so rooms can be built in stereo or immersive layouts.
A reference monitor that publishes its phase response because it can afford to.
Precision MKII is IK's flagship monitor line, designed and voiced in Italy. The whole signal path runs at 96 kHz under DSP control, with a 6th order linear phase crossover and power amplifier distortion held to 0.005 percent at nominal power. Unit to unit consistency is specified at plus or minus half a decibel, which matters when you are matching eleven speakers rather than two.
Every acoustic adjustment you would normally make with outboard gear is on board: a high pass filter at 35, 50, 65 or 80 Hz, low frequency contour from -10 to +6 dB, desk contour from -10 to 0 dB, mid contour plus or minus 4 dB, high frequency contour plus or minus 6 dB, plus input gain trim and up to 10 ms of adjustable delay for aligning speakers in a multichannel room.
ARC X is IK's room correction platform. The monitor measures the room with the ARC microphone, builds a correction profile and applies it inside its own DSP, so the correction travels with the speaker instead of living in a plug-in on one computer. Precision MKII adds a hardware remote so voice selection and the measurement process can be driven from the listening position rather than the keyboard.

What Makes iLoud Precision 6 MKII a Reference Monitor?
Three things you can measure: a frequency response held within one decibel across the band, a phase response that stays coherent from 150 Hz up, and unit to unit consistency of half a decibel. Most monitors publish the first. The second is what makes transients and stereo imaging trustworthy, and the third is what makes a multi-speaker room behave.
Who Is iLoud Precision 6 MKII For?
Mixing and mastering engineers, post production rooms, and studios building immersive layouts where every speaker has to match. The onboard delay and contour controls plus ARC correction mean the monitor can be tuned into an existing room rather than requiring the room be rebuilt around it.
What Comes in the Box?
One iLoud Precision 6 MKII monitor, power cord, ARC measurement microphone and clamp, a 2.5 m USB-B to USB-A cable, and a set of four iLoud Isolation Pods. Unlike the smaller iLoud models, the measurement microphone ships with every single unit.
Can I Control It From the Listening Position?
Yes. The iLoud Precision Remote Control handles ARC X voice selection and drives the measurement process from where you actually sit. It is a separate accessory.
