IK Multimedia TONEX Pedal Bass Edition is the bass focused version of the TONEX floor pedal, built on the same hardware platform: 150 customizable presets, 24-bit and 192 kHz converters, 5 Hz to 24 kHz response, up to 123 dB dynamic range, USB audio interface operation, MIDI in and out, an expression pedal input and a headphone output.

TONEX is IK's AI Machine Modeling platform. Instead of emulating a circuit, it listens to a real amp, cabinet or pedal and builds a Tone Model of how that rig actually responded. Models are shared and downloaded through ToneNET, so the library keeps growing without a firmware update.
Bass is where amp modeling usually falls down. Low frequency content is unforgiving about phase, headroom and noise floor, and a model built for guitar tends to run out of bottom end. Capturing a real rig sidesteps the problem: the Tone Model carries whatever the amp and cabinet actually did at those frequencies.

Why a Bass Specific Version?
The hardware is shared with the standard TONEX Pedal. What differs is the software and Tone Model content it ships with, which is built around bass amplifiers and cabinets rather than guitar rigs. If you already own TONEX collections, the standard pedal will load bass models perfectly well.
