IK Multimedia TONEX ONE is a mini format amp and cab tone modeling pedal holding 20 customizable presets in an enclosure measuring 48 x 94 x 53 mm and weighing 160 g. It runs the same 24-bit and 192 kHz converters as the full size TONEX Pedal, with 5 Hz to 24 kHz response, up to 123 dB dynamic range and USB audio interface operation at 24-bit and 44.1 kHz.
A pedalboard slot the width of two fingers, holding twenty amps.
TONEX is IK's AI Machine Modeling platform. Instead of emulating a circuit, it listens to a real amp, cabinet or pedal and builds a Tone Model of how that rig actually responded. Models are shared and downloaded through ToneNET, so the library keeps growing without a firmware update.
TONEX ONE is the version that fits where nothing else does. At 48 mm wide it slots into a board that is already full, and it will run from a standard 9 V DC supply at 120 mA or straight from USB-C, so it also works as a self-contained practice and recording rig with nothing but a laptop.
Twenty preset slots is the trade for the size, but the audio path is not compromised: the same converters, the same frequency response and the same dynamic range as the larger pedal. It ships preloaded with a spread of Tone Models covering classic overdrives, British and American amp voices and high gain rigs, and TONEX SE software is included for loading more.

How Small Is TONEX ONE Really?
48 mm wide, 94 mm deep, 53 mm tall, 160 g. That is mini pedal footprint, narrower than most standard compact pedals, which is the entire point. It fits a board that has no room left.
Who Is TONEX ONE For?
Players who want a captured amp on a full pedalboard, fly rig builders, and anyone practicing or recording from a laptop who would rather not carry an interface as well. It is also a common choice as a second TONEX unit alongside the full size pedal.
Is TONEX ONE Good for Travel?
At 48 x 94 x 53 mm and 160 g it is the smallest way to carry a captured amp. It runs from USB-C, so a laptop or a power bank is enough and there is no adapter to pack. A guitar, a cable and this is a working practice and recording rig.
What Comes in the Box?
The TONEX ONE pedal and a 0.6 m USB-C to USB-C cable. A 9 V power supply is not included, since most players run it from a pedalboard supply or from USB. TONEX SE software is included with registration.
How Does It Compare to TONEX Pedal?
Same modeling engine and same converters. TONEX ONE has 20 presets, no MIDI, no expression input and no headphone output. TONEX Pedal has 150 presets, MIDI in and out, an expression input, a headphone output and a bundled power supply.
Why IK Multimedia?
IK Multimedia has been building music production hardware and software in Modena, Italy since 1996, with US operations in Sunrise, Florida. The company is behind AmpliTube, T-RackS, TONEX, the ARC room correction platform and the iLoud monitor range, and it designs its own DSP, converters and analog front ends rather than assembling reference designs.
