IK Multimedia TONEX Cab is a 2-way powered FRFR guitar cabinet rated at 350 W RMS and 700 W peak, built around a 12 in. Celestion low frequency driver and a 1 in. Lavoce compression driver on a controlled directivity horn. It reaches 132 dB maximum peak SPL, responds from 60 Hz to 20 kHz, holds 8 recallable presets with MIDI program change control, and includes a built-in IR loader.
A flat cabinet voiced so captured amps sound like amps in the room again.
Modelers sound right in headphones and wrong through most powered cabinets, because a PA speaker is voiced for a full mix rather than for a guitar. TONEX Cab is voiced for the job: the response is deliberately tailored for reproducing amp Tone Models, and the AMP TONE control adds back the in-the-room character that a strictly flat cabinet strips out.
The rest is built for stage work. Bass, mid and treble controls handle room adaptation, 8 presets recall every parameter and respond to MIDI program changes, and the built-in IR loader takes custom impulse responses. A dedicated AUX input on XLR or 1/4 in. with its own volume lets the cabinet double as a wedge monitor, and the DIRECT XLR OUT with a pre and post switch feeds a PA or stacks a second cabinet.
Physically it is a 546 x 432 x 230 mm box weighing 12.7 kg, with integrated legs for tilting it back as a wedge. Ultra low latency DSP keeps the feel intact. TONEX for Mac and PC SE plus AmpliTube 5 SE are included, and the cabinet is designed in Modena, Italy.

What Does FRFR Mean and Why Does It Matter Here?
Full range, flat response. The cabinet is not supposed to add a voice of its own, because the Tone Model already contains the amp and the cabinet. TONEX Cab goes one step further than strictly flat: its response is tailored specifically for reproducing amp Tone Models, and the AMP TONE control lets you dial back toward a traditional guitar cabinet feel when a flat response sounds too polite on stage.
Who Is TONEX Cab For?
Players running a modeler on stage who want stage volume and a real cabinet in front of them. Also a practical wedge monitor thanks to the AUX input and tilting legs, and a backline solution for venues where amps are not permitted.
What Comes in the Box?

Can I Send It to Front of House at the Same Time?
Yes. The DIRECT XLR OUT with the pre and post switch feeds the PA, and the same output stacks a second cabinet for more coverage. Pre sends the signal before the cabinet's own tone shaping, post sends it after.
