LP-6 V2 is a 6.5 inch powered studio monitor from Kali's Lone Pine series, the speaker that made the company's reputation by measuring flatter than monitors costing several times as much. Boundary EQ dip switches on the back let you correct for desk and wall placement rather than pretending every room is a treated one.
The measurements are the whole argument, and they hold up.
Most nearfield monitors are sold on the marketing around them. Kali went the other way and published the response curves, which is why the LP series became the default recommendation for a first serious pair of monitors and why it keeps turning up in shootouts against speakers at three times the price.
The V2 refines the original with revised tuning and improved low-end control. Boundary EQ switches on the rear compensate for the speaker sitting on a desk, against a wall or in a corner, so the response stays correct in the room you actually have rather than the room the brochure assumes.

Is the LP-6 V2 Sold as a Pair or a Single?
Kali sells the LP series as single speakers, so a stereo pair is two units. Check the quantity before ordering if you need both sides.
What Do the Boundary EQ Switches Do?
They correct the low-frequency response for where the speaker physically sits. A monitor on a desk against a wall builds up bass that is not in the recording. The dip switches remove that buildup so what you hear matches the file.
LP-6 or IN-5, Which Should I Choose?
The LP-6 is a 2-way with a 6.5 inch woofer, the more affordable entry into the range. The IN-5 is a 3-way coaxial design with a separate midrange, which gives a more precise stereo image and better off-axis consistency at a higher position in the line.
Why Kali Audio
Kali Audio was started in Burbank in 2018 by engineers out of the professional audio industry, and the whole company is built on one idea: measure everything, publish the measurements, and let the numbers do the arguing. Every product line is named after a California town. Lone Pine is the entry range, Independence is the 3-way coaxial line, Santa Monica is the flagship, and Watts is the subwoofer series. Kali became the reference for value in studio monitoring by beating far more expensive speakers on measured response rather than on marketing.
